Hing Hay Park

Welcome to the city of Seattle's Chinatown, otherwise known as the International District for its ethnic and cultural diversity. Indeed, this area filled with Asiatic charm has sites and foundations dating back to the early 1900's. Notably, you will find yourself enjoying a wide array of international shopping, fine dining, and a facet of multicultural and multilingual experiences. Extremely pedestrian friendly, no other place in the city will you be able to indulge in this unique blend of ethnic and historic festivities.

Wing Luke

For instance, pay a visit to the Wing Luke Asian Museum, founded in memory of the first Asian American to be elected into U.S. public office. The museum provides exhibits and public programs on the history of the Northwest Asian community.

You an also take a stroll through Hing Hay Park, established in 1975, which contains an authentic Chinese pavilion designed by a Taiwan architect.

For the shoppers out there, Uwajimaya is a delectable store filled with Asian groceries, novelties and gifts. And of course, for those who love to feast, choose from the many restaurants that offer a diversity of authentic cuisine.
